Highlights
Day 1: Casablanca
Pick up from Mohammed V airport. Visit the Great Hassan II Mosque, the third largest Mosque in the world. Visit the interior of the Mosque, The Ain Diab Corniche. Dinner & overnight.
Day 2: Casablanca - Rabat
Continue to Rabat, the capital of Morocco. Sightseeing tour featuring the Mohammed V Mausoleum, the Hassan Tower, the Chellah Necropolis and La Kasbah Des Oudayas.
Day 3: Rabat - Assilah
Drive north to visit the Exotic Gardens at Bouknadel. Drive along the coast to the small coastal town of Assilah. Walk through the Medina to the seafront for sunset.
Day 4: Assilah - Tangier - Assilah
Visit the city of Tangier. Journey to the Medina with its souks and Kasbah plus the squares and views of mountains meeting the seas.
Day 5: Assilah - Chefchaouen
Drive through the Rif mountains towards Chefchaouen, the white-blue washed town. Overnight in the Riad in the heart of the hill town.
Day 6: Chefchaouen
Tour of the Medina of Chefchaouen featuring the old part of the hill town and visit to the famous Kasbah. Visit the waterfalls at Rass EL Mae.
Day 7: Chefchaouen - Meknes
Drive towards Meknes. Stop at Roman ruins of Volubilis and small town of Moulay Idriss. Visit the Imperial City of Meknes, known as 'the Moroccan Versailles'.
Day 8: Meknes - Fes
Departure to Fes. Visit the Jewish area, the Royal palace and take a ride along the Remparts. Dinner and overnight.
Day 9: Fes Medina Tour
Full day devoted to sightseeing Fes, the spiritual capital of Morocco. Visit the medieval Medina, ancient mosques, minarets, Attarine and Abou Anania Medersas.
Day 10: Fes - Cooking Class
Cooking class with one of the best chefs in the Medina. Learn traditional Moroccan recipes and enjoy lunch.
Day 11: Fes - Erfoud - Merzouga
Drive through Middle Atlas Mountains via Azrou and Midelt. Continue to Sahara Desert. Camel trek to Erg Chebbi dunes for sunset and overnight in desert camp.
Day 12: Merzouga - Todra Gorges - Dades Valley
Early morning camel trek to watch sunrise. Drive to Todra Gorges, spectacular canyon with towering limestone cliffs. Continue to Dades Valley.
Day 13: Dades Valley - Ouarzazate
Drive through Valley of Roses and Skoura Oasis. Visit Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, UNESCO World Heritage site. Continue to Ouarzazate.
Day 14: Ouarzazate - Marrakech
Cross High Atlas Mountains via Tizi-n-Tichka pass (2260m). Enjoy spectacular mountain scenery. Arrive in Marrakech, the 'Red City'.
Day 15: Marrakech City Tour
Full day exploring Marrakech. Visit Koutoubia Mosque, Saadian Tombs, Bahia Palace, and vibrant Jemaa el-Fnaa square.
Day 16: Marrakech - Essaouira
Drive to coastal city of Essaouira. Visit the Portuguese fortified city, walk along the ramparts and enjoy fresh seafood.
Day 17: Essaouira
Free day to explore Essaouira. Visit the medina, art galleries, and enjoy the Atlantic Ocean breeze.
Day 18: Essaouira - Agadir
Drive south along the coast to Agadir. Visit the modern beach resort city and enjoy the beautiful beaches.
Day 19: Agadir - Taroudant
Visit Taroudant, known as 'Little Marrakech'. Explore the ancient walls and traditional souks.
Day 20: Taroudant - Taliouine - Ouarzazate
Drive through saffron fields of Taliouine. Continue through Anti-Atlas Mountains to Ouarzazate.
Day 21: Ouarzazate - Zagora
Visit Draa Valley with its palm groves and kasbahs. Continue to Zagora, gateway to the Sahara.
Day 22: Zagora - M'hamid - Desert Camp
Drive to M'hamid, last oasis before the Sahara. Camel trek into the desert for overnight camping.
Day 23: Desert - Foum Zguid - Tazenakht
Morning in desert, then drive through off-road tracks to Foum Zguid. Continue to Tazenakht, famous for carpets.
Day 24: Tazenakht - Ait Ben Haddou - Marrakech
Visit Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah again. Cross Atlas Mountains back to Marrakech.
Day 25: Marrakech - Imlil - Atlas Mountains
Drive to Imlil in High Atlas Mountains. Short trek to Berber villages with views of Mount Toubkal.
Day 26: Atlas Mountains - Marrakech
Morning in the mountains, then return to Marrakech. Free afternoon for shopping and relaxation.
Day 27: Marrakech - Casablanca
Return to Casablanca. Visit any missed sites or enjoy last-minute shopping.
Day 28: Casablanca - El Jadida
Day trip to El Jadida, Portuguese colonial city. Visit the fortress and enjoy coastal scenery.
